The safety helmet is ideal for a wide range of work situations, both for working at height and in locations where heavy machinery is in use or other hazards are to be expected. Our ventilated safety helmet complies with the certification requirements of the EN 12492 and EN 397 standards. Thanks to the special adjustment system with 4-point chin strap, the safety helmet can be easily adjusted to one or the other standard depending on the safety requirements of the workplace. Inspired by modern climbing helmets, the rimless design allows an unobstructed view upwards. This makes it easier to see and avoid potential hazards in the surrounding area. Six different settings allow the helmet to be adapted to different head shapes. With the easily adjustable 6-point ratchet fastening system, the headband can be conveniently adjusted according to requirements. The exclusive, patented 3M pressure distribution technology is integrated into the helmet. It not only ensures a secure fit, but also improves wearer comfort. This technology reduces the force on the head by up to 20% compared to conventional 3M helmet straps. This red safety helmet is equipped with a patented 3M UVicator sensor, which changes colour from red to white when exposed to harmful UV radiation. Exposure to UV radiation can cause the helmet shell to become brittle, reducing effective protection. The colour change of the sensor indicates when the helmet should be replaced. The existing notches and brackets for accessories are compatible with a wide range of 3M protective visors, earmuffs and other accessories. It also fulfils the EN 50365 standard (1000 VAC). Note: The X5000 can be worn in either EN 12492 (mountaineering helmets) or EN 397 (industrial safety helmets) mode, but it cannot fulfil both EN standards at the same time.
