Known alternatively as Aramid Ropes, Norfab Rope or Nor-Fab, AG’s standard grade of Aramid Fibre Rope is a twisted rope which offers excellent mechanical strength whilst insulating in applications reaching 350ºC. This lightweight and highly flexible product also offers good drapability and non-stretch characteristics whist simultaneously possessing good chemical and mildew resistance so that it is only slightly weakened by most acid and alkali solutions. AG’s standard Aramid Fibre Rope is available in sizes ranging from 6.4mm through 25.4mm diameter with other sizes available upon request. Should your application require a material with a higher density than that offered by the twisted, AG can also supply a braided Aramid fibre rope (sometimes known as round packing) with either an aramid fibre or fibreglass core.
