AG’s Ceramic Insulation Tape with Nickel-Chrome reinforcement is a high performance tape designed for high temperature environments. This tape is manufactured from high purity ceramic fibres with nickel-chrome reinforcement for additional strength and can handle applications with continuous operating temperatures up to 1200ºC. Ceramic Insulation Tape with Nickel-Chrome Reinforcement offers excellent chemical resistance and is highly resistant to thermal shock and breakdown because of stress or vibration. This woven tape will resist oxidation and reduction if wet by either water or steam as both its physical and thermal properties are restored upon drying. Thicknesses available are 3mm and 5mm. The standard roll length of each is 30 metres long and an adhesive backing can also be applied to the tape for easy installation, especially on vertical surfaces. Due to the metallic reinforcement, Ceramic Insulation Tape with Nickel-Chrome Reinforcement should not be used in electrical applications.  AG’s Ceramic Insulation Tape with Fibreglass Reinforcement could be a suitable alternative in electrical applications.
