3M 233 Premium Masking Tape is a high performance grade of masking tape that provides a variety of benefits. This tape which exhibits excellent sunlight and transfer resistance coupled with very good adhesion and high conformability. This crepe paper tape removes cleanly when subjected to temperatures above 121ºC (for up to 30 minutes) and has excellent heat and solvent resistance. Also known as 3Mâ„¢ Scotchâ„¢ 233 Premium Masking Tape, this grade has a balanced construction for applications which require clean removal and high degrees of conformability. It features a proprietary 3Mâ„¢ adhesive which offers instant adhesion, good holding power and adhesive transfer resistance to minimise the amount of labour required to clean up any adhesive residue. The controlled crepe paper backing used for 3M 233 Premium Masking Tape is smooth, thin, highly conformable with dead stretch characteristics that allow it to resist recovery once applied.
